Setting the Intention

 Scripture

Psalm 90:12 - “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

 Reflection

The beginning of a year can tempt us to chase goals like they are gods. But wisdom asks a deeper question: Who am I becoming while I’m building? Numbering our days isn’t pressure, it’s perspective. It reminds you that your days are sacred, and how you live inside them matters. Intention helps you move with meaning instead of motion.

 Reflect + Journal

  • As this new year begins, what intention do you want to govern who you are becoming. Not what you accomplish, but how you live, lead, and respond?

 Sacred Step

Write a short Becoming Intention for January that begins with:
“This month, I am intentionally becoming…”
Place it somewhere visible.

 Prayer

Lord, as I step into this new year, I ask not just for direction but for wisdom. Shape my heart before shaping my outcomes. Let every step I take this month be rooted in intention and alignment with You. Amen.

What’s written here was never meant to impress—only to anchor.
