Walk on Water

 Scripture

Matthew 14:29 (NIV) — “‘Come,’ he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.”

 Reflection

The invitation is simple: “Come.” Your boat is familiar, but it’s not faith. Water-walking requires eye contact with Jesus, not the waves. Even if you wobble, you’ll fall into His hands, not failure. Courage is not the absence of fear; it’s the choice to move toward Christ amid it.

 Reflect + Journal

  • What is my “boat”—comfort I’m clinging to?
  • What step would prove I trust Jesus more than the storm?

 Sacred Step

Do the scary, honoring thing: post it, call them, make the appointment, submit the application.

 Prayer

Jesus, call me out of the boat again. Fix my eyes on You, not the waves. If I stumble, catch me in Your strength. Amen.
