Rest as Resistance

 Scripture

Mark 6:31 – “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”

 Reflection

Rest isn’t laziness—it’s obedience. When you rest, you resist the world’s demand for endless striving. Rest enlarges capacity because it renews your strength, clears your mind, and reminds you that God is in control.

 Reflect + Journal

  • Do I view rest as weakness or worship?
  • How can rest reset my rhythm this week?

 Sacred Step

Schedule at least 30 minutes today to rest intentionally—body, mind, and spirit.

 Prayer

God, teach me to value rest as holy. Refresh and restore me. Amen.

What’s written here was never meant to impress—only to anchor.
