Becoming Grounded

 Scripture

Colossians 2:6–7 - "6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

 Reflection

Grounded people aren’t unbothered. They’re anchored. When life feels uncertain, your roots determine whether you sway or stand. Ask yourself: What do I instinctively reach for when I feel overwhelmed, God, control, distraction, or performance?
Spiritual grounding isn’t about doing more; it’s about being deeply connected. Roots grow slowly, quietly, and out of sight. Yet they determine everything above ground.

 Reflect + Journal

  • What keeps you spiritually grounded when life feels busy or uncertain? Where do you need deeper roots instead of surface-level faith?

 Sacred Step

Choose one grounding practice you will commit to daily this week.

 Prayer

Lord, grow my roots deeper than my circumstances. Let my stability come from You alone. Amen.

What’s written here was never meant to impress—only to anchor.
